Consumer LifeScape™ Consumer LifeScape™ is a household-focused segmentation system that can measure segment potential more precisely than modeled neighborhood clustering systems. Consumer LifeScape™ is built upon a 252-cell matrix of LifeStage (Age x Income x Marital Status x Presence of Children) and Income. 'Household-focused' means that we use household level data whenever possible to LifeScape-code client files. Originally built from household-level Census data, Devonshire updates the national construct annually placing every household in the U.S. into this system -- this is unique among national-level segmentation systems. What is unique about Consumer LifeScape? ° Consumer LifeScape segmentation builds upon the simple premise that life stage segments are more predictive than neighborhood clusters in determining consumer behavior. ° The use of household-level data provides a reliable platform for Customer Relationship Management initiatives. It is more accurate than neighborhood clustering. ° It is built from the ground up with distributions assigned to each geography. Consumer LifeScape is spatially enabled from the start. ° Intuitive segments translate into easy links to third-party research and prospect lists. Consumer LifeScape is actionable!
Current-year estimates and 5-year
